My Work
I don’t care much for gossip or surface-level conversations. I reach for the human under the public image. Interviews, for me, are an excavation—not of scandal, but of character, which is why they tend to go places people didn’t plan on going. My column lives somewhere between personal essay and cultural examination—intimate, often controversial, always honest. Brand work is a different kind of inquiry: understanding what makes people move, then framing it in a way they can’t ignore.
Based in Los Angeles, I’ve spent the last decade and a half moving between glossy pages and commercial decks, profiling artists one week and refining campaign language the next. I’m interested in substance—whether that means pushing a public figure past the obvious or repositioning a product so it actually earns attention. I respect craft and I respect results. The best projects manage both. Variety keeps me awake; boredom is a choice.
